Since 1981 Meteor has installed inset fireplaces in many homes. Fireplaces are built on optimal principles, which means optimal heat transfer and emission. Meteor was founded by Ole Povlsen in 1981 and today is a family business, where son Rene Povlsen is the driving force! High quality and timeless design have always been a priority. Today Meteor employs around 30 employees on the production of fireplace inserts (cassettes) and the company produces more than 50% of the fireplace inserts sold in Denmark, with a 10-year warranty.
